Brown, Richardson + Rowe assisted with the design of the streetscape around the replaced MBTA Red Line Station between Charles Street and Massachusetts General Hospital. The designers addressed the complexities of accomplishing safe pedestrian, barrier free access to the station and each platform while creating a customer friendly, easily reached destination. We satisfied transit commuters and the residents of one of Boston’s most beautiful and historic neighborhoods who can now walk to the station from both Beacon Hill and MGH in a comfortable way.
