New Hires

Nigel joined Brown, Richardson + Rowe in 2021. He received his Bachelor's in Urban Studies and Planning from The State University of New York at Albany and his Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Massachusetts Amherst. Here, he became immersed in public art and material exploration and focused primarily on spatial equity, climate, and resiliency strategies. At BRR, Nigel has worked on waterfront parks, historic landscapes, housing, and public spaces. His expertise includes computer and hand graphics, concept development, rendering, and spatial analysis.

Can “Sunny” Sun, Landscape Designer

Sunny joined Brown, Richardson + Rowe in 2021. She received her Bachelor’s in Architecture from the South China University of Technology and her Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Sunny’s skillset includes computer and hand graphics, site analysis and the preparation of documents. At BRR, Sunny has been on landscape design teams for public parks, rail trails, and streetscapes across Massachusetts.

Monique Hall, Senior Landscape Architect

Monique, PLA, LEED AP BD + C, joined Brown, Richardson + Rowe in 2023. Her experience encompasses a wide array of project types and scales. Her design expertise includes affordable housing, luxury resorts, green roofs, amenity decks, parks, plazas, streetscapes, mixed-use developments, adaptive reuse, and master planning. She strives to incorporate sustainable design solutions and resilient strategies in all her work, creating beautiful landscapes that are welcoming and functional for its users, as well as adaptive and responsive to environmental conditions.

Maggie joined Brown, Richardson + Rowe in 2023. She received her Bachelor's in Landscape Architecture from the University of Rhode Island. As Marketing Manager at BRR, Maggie assists with project proposals, outreach, and office management. Her professional interests include climate equity, green infrastructure, and strategic resilience. She is passionate about providing beautiful and quality open green space for all people to enjoy throughout the year, coastal access, and safe and accessible public transportation.

Maggie Spano, Marketing Manager
