Lynn Heritage State Park

Location: Lynn, MA
Client: The Department of Conservation and Recreation
Status: Bid Set

Based on resiliency goals and the community’s desire for better waterfront access, which was expressed during the Lynn Waterfront Open Space Master Plan process, BRR is designing renovations and improvements for DCR’s Lynn Heritage State Park. Proposed site improvements include a large, new splash pad, flexible public plaza with performance area, a waterside overlook, improved vehicular access, sixty new trees, a waterfront promenade, and a large lawn for passive recreation. After repairing the existing seawall and addressing ground settlement, a newly repaired boardwalk will improve access and provide ample seating and open space at the southern end of the park.
