Brown, Richardson + Rowe completed permitting drawings for two new housing developments and a public park in Lusk, Ireland, adding much needed additional housing and open space in this expanding part of greater Dublin, about 14 miles north of the city. We worked closely with the architects and the developer to tie this new housing into an existing neighborhood, a sports field complex, and adjacent school grounds. Our design of a significant public park, as well as smaller-scaled open spaces for passive recreation within the housing areas will provide a new soccer field and practice field, a central lawn, large swathes of native meadow, biobasins, a playground, and significant tree planting, all connected by a 12 foot wide multi-use path.
