Mary Baker is a Registered Landscape Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She earned her Masters of Landscape Architecture degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and also holds a BS in Business Administration from  Ohio State University. Her professional experience includes the design of parks and recreation facilities, historic landscapes, transportation improvements, streetscape and corporate projects. She joined Brown, Richardson & Rowe in 2000.

Walter Baranowski is a Registered Landscape Architect and a horticulturist. He has been at Brown, Richardson & Rowe since December of 1993. He has a broad range of experience on large projects, but also enjoys residential landscape design. Walter received his Masters of Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Massachusetts, and has pursued additional studies at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design, specifically in interior planting design. Other interests of Walt's include constructing useful objects from driftwood, such as the tide clock shown here.

 

Imogene Hatch, Senior Landscape Designer joined the firm in 2010.  Genie’s  professional experience includes all aspects of project design, project management, master planning, construction administration and many other key areas of landscape architecture. She has worked on a wider range of projects in the Boston area and beyond including corporate developments, institutions, not-for-profits, public parks, and private residences. Genie received a Bachelors of Arts degree with a concentration in Urban Planning and Architectural Studies from Brown University, and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from Cornell University. Genie is a dedicated equestrian event rider competing in regional events and training with her horse all year round.

Jessie Crowley-Waisnor came to Brown, Richardson & Rowe in 2004 with a background in the nursery business, where she gained helpful experience with both interior and exterior plant material. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture. She studied abroad with the Denmark International Studies program in her last year at UMass. Jessie is a faculty member of the B.A.C. (Boston Architectural College) and teaches multiple classes on planting design.

Peter Shea, CADD Manager, joined the firm in 2000 after working as the Senior CADD technician for two different Central Artery/Tunnel Projects. He continues to work on transportation and trail projects and has assisted with a wide range of landscape architectural projects at Brown, Richardson & Rowe. Pete also oversees the office computer network.

Jing Yang, Urban Planner, Landscape and Urban Designer, joined the firm in 2009. Jing has earned her Bachelors of Arts degree in Landscape Architecture from Tongji University in Shanghai, China and a Masters degree in Urban Design from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. Jing has a wide range of talents and has assisted in a wide range of landscape architectural projects at Brown, Richardson & Rowe. Jing is also LEED certified.

 

 

 

Emilie Pickering, Intern, joined the firm in 2010. Emilie is earning a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. She has used her experience in design and graphic communication skills in numerous projects at Brown, Richardson & Rowe. She loves to travel and seek out new experiences.

 

 

Anne Braier , Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator, joined the firm in 2010. Annie has an Undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. She assists with proposals and outreach at Brown, Richardson & Rowe. She has volunteered for child welfare organizations and is a talented athlete.
