Nina Brown, Registered Landscape Architect, is a founder of the firm, along with Clarissa Rowe. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard College and her Master of Landscape Architecture degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She has 33 years of experience in landscape architecture and planning, focusing on planning issues, waterfront park design, park and playground design, transportation projects, and historic preservation. Nina is a member of the Chairman's Council of theTrustees of Reservations. She is also Vice President of the Arboretum Park Conservancy, and recently completed two terms on the Town of Brookline's Parks and Recreation Commission. Nina loves to travel with her family and walk her dogs in the woods.
 
Clarissa Rowe, Registered Landscape Architect and co-founder of the firm, has 34 years of experience in landscape architecture. She has concentrated on waterfront park design and construction, public parks, and the treatment of soils. Clarissa received her education at Bryn Mawr College and at the Conway School of Landscape Design. She is a Selectman and Town Meeting Member in Arlington, Massachusetts. She is the Chair of the Community Preservation Coalition and President of the Arlington Land Trust and the Friends of Menotomy Rocks Park, Inc. She is an avid reader and Red Sox fan.
 
Alison Richardson, Registered Landscape Architect, has been a Principal at the firm since 1993. The firm's name was changed in January 2002 to Brown, Richardson & Rowe to reflect Alison's many contributions. She received her landscape architecture degree at the University of Wisconsin's School of Agriculture and Life Sciences with particular interest in woody plants, forestry and prairie restoration. Her 30 years of experience have focused on corporate and campus design, transportation projects, waterfront parks, streetscape design, institutional projects, parks, and playgrounds. Alison is currently an Overseer at the Boston Architectural College, where her daughter is a student. She resides in Needham in a former stable next to the Wilson farm, where she was born.
