Brown, Richardson & Rowe collaborated with Imai Keller Architects to renovate the Market Square Park at Mashpee Commons. The owner, Mashpee Commons LTD, had in mind providing outdoor seating for a restaurant, a granite fountain, and public areas with seating and planting for the enjoyment of residents and visitors at an adjacent mixed- use development with housing, designed according to the principles of “new urbanism.” Brown Richardson & Rowe coordinated with Greenscape, Mashpee LTD., Cold Spring granite, and Atlantic Fountain in the design of the Academy Black granite fountain.
