Brown Richardson & Rowe, together with Icon Architecture, is on the Trinity Develoment Team working with the City of Lowell and the National Park Service on redevelopment of the former Appleton Mills complex along Hamilton Canal. the District is bounded by the Merrimack, Hamilton, and Lower Pawtucket Canals. Mixed-use housing, retail, office, and high tech. research and development is proposed along with a new district courthouse. Extension of the Trolley to Gallagher Terminal as well as improved connections to downtown are long term goals.
