Cambridge, MA

Christ Church Cambridge, dating from 1759, is the oldest church in the city. Brown, Richardson & Rowe was hired to propose a renovated configuration of the front entry drive and drop-off area.

Brown, Richardson & Rowe investigated paving choices to help strengthen the existing brick work. In the north entry, a new handrail was installed and the area was narrowed in order to maintain pedestrian friendliness. The north drive entrance area was regraded for improved drainage.

All plans for this prominent historical site were presented to and approved by the Cambridge Historical Commission.
